Reflections on learning objectives

Learning objectives: The changing world leads to everything that is going on now All the categories are either caused by or a result of the changing world How do you actualize your competencies to identify yourself professionally? First of all you have to know yourself, set goals and work towards the goal. You have to have hard knowledge, but as well soft knowledge such as understanding of cultures, respect for different opinions and ideas, open mind etc How to find your professional identity in an international, changing world? International business and BBA graduates, First I think that you have to remember where you come from, but appreciate differences. Be eager to learn from others, be active and share your information. Build a network. Specialize. Be able to work in a team. How to remain professional in a changing world? World is global and competition is as well. Therefore you can´t just graduate and believe you will be a professional once you obtain such credits. You should always be eager to learn, be open to new things. Want to social and share information, if you do, people will want to share with you. Develop your skills, learn new languages and learn to understand your changing surroundings How do we utilize our learning methods in our working lives? How will the learning methods learned at Haaga-Helia affect our working lives? Specifically from Haaga-Helia Haaga-Helia teaches skills that are modern and useable at work. Nowadays many universities need to listen to what employers say they need in the future and what kinds of skills and competencies people entering to job market need. Methods are group and problem-solving oriented, such as PBL and case studies. They are very similar to what many jobs are like and then the transformation should be rather effortless. Additional work-placement teaches what really happens on the job-market and prepares the student well.
